Chris, a Q regarding uplink music.

How exactly did you folks went about getting top notch demo scene trackers to compose for you?
Did you threw a post somewhere on a forum and waited for someone to contact you or....what?
I mean, hell, you got Skaven, so you must've done something right.

or did IV perhaps just find music that fit Uplink, and then ask Skaven and such if they could use it. and since it is scene music, they let IV use it. i cant see why scene artists would deny somebody the use of their free music in a game that will be widely distributed

Yeah, as far as I know none of the music was composed specially for Uplink, it was just music that was found on the web and permission was granted to use in the game. There's information on the Bonus disk about it, and some tracks that were considered for use in the game but didn't make the cut.

What about that music that was always 1st in the track rotation? That music wasn't included in the Bonus disc so what is that track? (I love it so much, but I can't do anything with the format in .uni)
