No.
If you want multiplayer Uplink, you should buy the DevCD and try coding it yourself. Not that I'd be able to though.

The latest patch allow you some form of multiplayer (hack each other's server via LAN or something), but nothing like a MPOG, though.

It's not really multiplayer though. The LAN systems are on your own machine, you can design and share your own systems but you're not playing 'against' someone

I wouldn't consider that being any form of multiplayer.
Some people talk because they have something to say. Others talk because they have to say something.

That should be dumb...

Anyway, it's more of a mod that you're letting someone else play.

I enjoy Uplink.

Heh, well, my point is that Spore is based on Asynchronous multiplayer. That is, your creations are shared between users, and your creatures can be downloaded by others to battle/trade with, but none of it is actually multiplayer, it's always human v ai

There are some days I would prefer the AI.

(127.0.0.1 vs Internet)

You see;
If the AI 'cheats', it's easy to cheat the fucker back or 'ban' it.
In certain cases, the AI is more challanging.
It is a sad occurance but with some people, the AI can be maturer.
Lag is never a problem and no one ever complains about it.
