Right, NeoThermic's idea for forum links was very nice, so we've decided to give it a go for our current code base. You can see the change to the Introversion Forums.

Hehe, you have any idea how much work it would be to maintain pre-beta software? In the past two days alone there's been 14 checkins, covering edits to 38 diffrent files. Of which permissions are still needing work (currently you have to give explicit permissions to *everything*. There appears to be no pre-set permissions abilities, searching is broken, and a few various other things left in the balance. In short, I highly doubt we will jump on 3.0 before it hits RC

but incidentally, if you click the links to any of the forums (the major links; i.e. you click the DARWINIA or UPLINK or DEFCON or INTROVERSION titles themselves) you get to a messed up not finished page

That's because you must have clicked the 'Introversion' heading to just display that section.

It works fine for me.

Hmm, the post counts are now merged when viewing the forums normally but not when looking at the memberlists, which show the number of posts in that particular forum. Is this intended?

Possibly an oversight, but you'll also note that your profile displays the singular postcount, rather than the total, so John's either forgotton or not got to that part yet
