rainingblood, your avatar is rather large, you ought to scale it down/find an alternate avatar that fits the 80*80 pixel requirement mentioned in the profile details. It's scaled down automatically in any sensible browser, but sadly Internet Explorer is not a sensible browser, and as such anyone using it will see the forums stretched significantly by large avatars.

Besides which, it's an OK album, but not amazing....

Also, this is one album which more than justifies downloading it instead of buying it due to the fucked up quality of the album - as opposed to Guitar Hero. Next to that though, it's more of a return to the old Metallica, and while I never really liked Metallice it's more likeable than the shitty levels they got to with St Anger, hehe.
Slayer on the other hand is much more enjoyable - something I think this guy can agree with seeing his nickname.
(I'm still pondering whether or not to buy tickets to the Unholy Alliance III which they are headlining...)

Rick Astley is superior to Metallica.

So anyway, what I forgot to say:
As you may or may not know, I'm visiting CERN next week with the Junior College group. Yes, CERN in Geneva, the LHC where black holes are in the making. That is, they would be if not for that damned helium leak they discovered several days ago. What does this mean for me? A tiny chance that we actually get to descend to the CMS installation - something that was deemed impossible before due to the tests they were running, but since they have to go and fix something now, it's going to get opened again and I might - just might - return with pictures of the CMS in full glory.
It depends on another thing too though: the whole thing also needs to warm up again, because going down there while it's at it's operating temperature of -271.3 degrees Celcius is not exactly pleasant, let alone allowed.
I will present the pictures when I return! I'm leaving Monday morning - 14 hour bus journey, buuuh... - and returning Thursday morning. Internet access for me might be possible in the youth hostel we're staying at (or simply at a cybercafe in Geneva which we are allowed to explore) so maybe you'll see pictures of it the day itself - that would be Tuesday, probably.

You haven't posted them yet so obviously there isn't a hole into the past.

Erf, I just love the new Metallica album, even if it has been awfully mixed (the drums/bass are way too loud...) !
Sorry for the avatar, i thought that as the forum allowed me to put it on my profile, the file size was ok, but apparently not
