But how do I get it to go with the media-player file?
Depends on your media player program. If you're using Windows Media Player, I think you need something called vobsub. I don't remember how you get that, and don't know if it's still necessary. Other media players(BSplayer, for instance) usually have a "load subtitles" function together with the "load file" function.

I downloaded BSplayer, I'll see if that'll do the trick, I had media player classic installed, but I deleted it accidently and then when I tried to re-download it I had to pay so I just took media player wich was free.

Book Review!
Reading this book cause I thought it would be cheesy and funny, like a B movie.
My rating:
Writing Style
It's all the worst parts of "gun culture" writing in condensed form. Cracked out conspiracy theories presented as fact, Cops shooting people for not having drivers licenses, clubbing the reader's brain into mush through hyper specifics and insignificant details of guns and supplies. If the reader cares about the specifics of the difference in parts between a Semi-Auto CAR-15 and a modified Full Auto one they will either know it already, or they will look it up.
As it is the thing reads like a Wikipedia entry, nothing can be said without an extended description of it's history, specifications, and price. Seriously, who talks like this? Who cares that a helmet cost you $300 one year, $100 a few years later, when the dollar has imploded from hyper inflation?
Further, when he updated the book for the current version he didn't standardize the time line. As it is trying to figure out what has or hasn't happened is a crap shoot of contradictions. One page he talks about everything collapsing in 2008, the next about people having X salary in 2009. At one point he says they got the idea for a group from 9/11, another from watching The Road Warrior in 2006 while in college, which doesn't make sense since they've all been out of college plus gotten advanced degrees by the time 2008 rolls around. He says in one chapter that the 2008 election doesn't happen due to disorder, later that everyone was worried when Obama was elected President.
Everyone talks virtually identically, which I assume to be the same tone, style, vocabulary, and flow as the author himself. There is virtually no difference in any of the characters except in name.
Plot
Essentially, it's about a bunch of people from Chicago who flee to a fortified position in Idaho which they've prepared through years of paramilitary preparation and stockpiling.
The book covers a lot of ground, from communists with a baby carriage full of dead babies they are using for food, to the afore mentioned crazy stuff, it's a sink hole of bizarre and ridiculous writing. There also included two chapters on a pair of brothers who have multiple shootouts with police officers, who apparently wanted to kill the brothers for driving without a license. According to the author this is perfectly legal for the boys to be doing since license laws are themselves illegal. He mentioned them in a fairly odd place and from what I can tell tied up their story arch quickly, which in no way has thus far impacted anything else that happened in any way.
Apparently a County Supervisor in Arkansas took over Fort Knox, declared himself President of the United Sates, but is actually a stooge for the Bilderberg Group (who have been planning to take over the US since 1933) controlled UN. The UN is now raping and killing it's way across America, is quickly moving through Utah and Southern Idaho due to the "Mormon Church" selling out to them and encouraging it's members to join them. Our heroes (about 12 in number) are now planning to fight back against the seven thousand approaching troops who are supported by 1,000 vehicles, including mechanized fighting units, with homemade thermite and two ultralight aircraft with M-16's bolted to the wings providing Close Air Support.
Wow.
