Yes I think it was.
No, it's more of a sequel.

The plot is entirely different.

(I was referencing the 2000 film in my original post. The 1970 ('71, '72?) is brilliant, but it's quite a different movie.)

For $160.000 it had better be amazing.

Today's conundrum:

I have some college homework revolving around making logical arguments.
This is pretty basic stuff, but the examples we're given revolve around two topics: Finding Nemo and Lord of the Rings.

So now that we have to come up with our own, I'm undecided between picking some pretty basic stuff or just accepting the challenge and going for even nerdier topics and risking the teacher (who'll be evaluating us) not even knowing if I did it right or not.

It's sooooo tempting to just pull out really obscure stuff.

Saw Shark Tale once, recall nothing of it. No experience with Eragon.

Anyway, final tally:

2 Cthulhu, 1 Robocop, 1 Terminator, 2 LOTR, 1 Discworld, and something about cats and dogs because I was tired of thinking.
