Wow. That's some good art.

And Colors! itself has come a long way from being DS homebrew. It's also the only time I've ever seen any app/game make use of the fact that the DS touchscreen is actually pressure-sensitive.

It is? The 3DS isn't as far as I know... As in, it can only-- <google search> Huh.

AFAIK Colors! 3D doesn't use this.

Exactly, we're a lot brighter over here. ;)

Also, a girl who'll randomly quote Zelda can really make a guy's day.

I would argue exactly the opposite. In the US, nearly every high school student is encouraged to go to college, and publicly supported vocational education is nearly dead. This means that many people who have no interest or aptitude for academic study are herded into universities where they are destined to fail (or bring the curve down). This means that US undergraduate institutions are, on average, easier to get through than they used to be. On the other hand, much of Europe still has strong vocational programs, and those academically disinterested students have an option better suited to their desires. This means that academic institutions can maintain greater rigor.

Well, Feud, I was actually going to say that American colleges appear to be little different from High Schools in their structure, so that makes it easier to adjust. :P

In the UK it's rather disconcerting how much of it focused on one's own motivation and organisational skills, at least in the Humanities!

By your last two years you'll have about 6 hours of contact time, with the rest to be figured out on your own!

Not seeing the charm of a girl saying the likes of:

"Is that... a fairy?"
"Well, that’s odd… I thought you might be the one from my dream…"
"I will protect the Ocarina of Time with all my power! He shall not have it!"

I'm talking original Zelda, not the sequels.

Oh, lines like
"Let's play money making game"
"Walk INTO the waterfall!"
"It's dangerous to go alone! Take this..."
"YOU JUMPED INTO A SWORD, YOU RETARD!"
