EDIT: But congrats nonetheless!

Congratulations! Also, hide any game controllers. They may seem like suitable grabbing toys (different surfaces, interesting shape, gently moving parts) and they are innocent enough, but then the little ones notice there is a button that makes lights blink.

Oooh, with cake? Just kidding.

Any favourites in particular you want to put in there, either out of your current collection, or what you have yet to get?

Only have one right now, my Sig Sauer. So, it'll go into it. I might get something in the next week or two, sort of as a celebration/birthday present to myself. If so, maybe a 1911 or a Beretta 92.

It's not a big safe, just a small one so I probably won't get anything too big.

Got a TF2 server to support a clan I'm in, said clan prefers playing on Valve servers, so there's a month's worth of server lying near-idleif you guys want to have a mess around. Feel free to play it (it's currently set up as if it were competitive 9v9, so no crits; London based).

Just finished watching the last few episodes of The Walking Dead (last night). I must say, the end of this season was much better than the beginning. Can't wait for next season.

Yeah, I'm having some serious issues with the rationality and decision making abilities of some (virtually all) of the people on that show. But I'm still holding out hope. Looks like they are bringing it more in line with the comic book plot.

To be fair, they are still near the 'start' of the zombie apocalypse. They made serious mistakes in season 1 (remember camping out in vehicles in the woods with nearly no watch?). Even in the comics, they don't start to 'get smart' till much later.

Having said that, I'd agree they act fairly stupid/far too passive in a world (world, not parking lot) full of zombies. Why not... fortify the house? Build a zombie pit (similar to minecraft grinder) around the house? Have pre-planned and mapped meet up spots stocked with hidden supplies?

Frankly, I'd have a stockpile of everything; spare (well-maintained and fueled) vehicles (lot's to choose from), heavy equipment, loads of knives/swords (and train with them durring down-time).

My favorite 'stupidist idea ever' is the 'let's stop the car/RV while dozens of flesh eating zombies pile on top of us'. 2nd favorite has to be 'drive around way too fast, off road, while hanging halfway out of the window shooting at them'.

:P

"Where's Carl!?!" has become a reoccuring joke in my house whenever someone is doing something obviously stupid or otherwise acting like a moron. :D

I like the turn that Rick seems to be taking though. Not the crazy type like Shane, but much more of a "this is the world we live in now, and we're done playing games."

Hahahahaha!

That one I'll never understand.

Nearly very 1st walker Rick killed (2nd maybe)? Child.
Most episodes spent looking for missing group member? Child.
Most absent/unwatched character on the show? Rick's child.

Edit:
