I love SKY BROADBAND.
I love living in an over-congested area of London.
I love that no ISP has decided to roll out fibre optic to my area. Actually, my exchange is fully capable, but my particular area is not.
I love SKY BROADBAND.
I love those days when the connection mysteriously jumps to a perfect stable 2mbps. I literally jump for joy on those days.

Bah! This week so far has done more to harm my super-mega-awesome average than the entire rest of the semester combined :(

Mind you, it's still a pretty sweet average. Just not super-mega-awesome.

We have this thing in our house called the "Dishwashing playlist"; a selection of preferably fast-paced music that we play as loud as possible to motivate ourselves during the washing of the dishes. There's a lot of happy hardcore and the like in it, but occasionally there's something different that makes its way into that list that's also cool music and keeps the spirits up during this arduous job.

Since I recently infected our house with the pony-virus I spent some time looking for MLP remixes to put into that list. Turns out there's one particular person who remixes a little on the side and makes quite OK music: Alex S. Not everything he's made is really accessible enough to be enjoyed by the entire house (his song with Ghost is pretty good but if you don't know TCR it just sounds like remix of some random shouting) but two songs have so far made it into this playlist:

MLP Intro Remix
20 Percent Cooler (Ken Ashcorp) Remix

Most 'YouTube DJs' are really just fiddling with random buttons in FruityLoops, but this guy actually knows what he's doing and produces proper quality. :)

I guess the Anonymous hackers, are shutting down the DOJ website along with other websites, and declaring war on the gov't. Interesting.

Noticed the news about Nevada forest fires. How are you doing xander? I bet the broken heater is less of a problem now. ;)

Fire? What? Maybe that would explain all the smoke in the air...

Googling...

Ah. I see. The fires appear to be out in Washoe Valley, which is on the ass other end of town, and on the other side of some small mountains. The air is pretty smokey here (though we are expecting rain today, so that will probably put an end to that), but our home is under no threat (darn... we could have used the insurance money).

My guess is that the fire was started either by Sparks or Trogdor.

And assuming the father's explanation makes sense(it doesn't) and no foul play was involved, I even figured out a fairly decent theory.
ImageChrome, are you feeling okay?

You do know that Reno is close enough to hell that you can see Sparks, right?
