Oh wow, I was thinking about going to watch Scott Pilgrim this friday, and looking online for theatres tells me that currently the movie is in three theatres IN THE ENTIRE FUCKING COUNTRY o_O
Fortunately two of them are within my reach (assuming there are no changes in theatres tomorrow), but damn...

So, what you're saying is that the movie is more widely distributed to Red Boxes within a two mile radius of my house than what it is for your entire country?

I love America.
It might not be the most intelligent franchise but it certainly is incredibly spectacular and always fun to watch - and fuck yes it just got another sequel.
I fucking love it.
The best part for me personally is that it seems they looked at the individual parts and decided that the best supporting cast would be the best characters from parts 1 (Dom), 2 (Tej and Roman) and 3 (Han) together with some new stuff, with some of the showiness that 2 and 3 had. I didn't particularly like part 4 (especially because of the plot hole that still has me wondering how anyone could ever overlook it) but setting off from there doesn't seem too bad an idea.
Really looking forward to this one.

To be fair, it's not unusual for movies to be released around here months after the US release, and I know a few cases where it took over a year. Usually we only get simultaneous or close releases for the really big stuff, and even then it's not guaranteed.
I know the movie wasn't a huge hit, but there are movies who premièred at the same time, which are months older, and significantly more obscure that are in more theatres.
Seriously, what the fuck is "Please Give" and "Sammy's Adventures"?

Thanks. Yeah it's 100 max. The ATAR is the overall mark from our high school certificates adjusted for uni entry. It roughly corresponds to a percentile rank (though the system is too complicated for me to fully understand). As far as subject choices anything with physics, chemistry and engineering will make me happy, but I'm leaning towards material science. My other thoughts are Photovoltaics and Bsc (Adv).
