I just found out there is a CD with the songs from The Nightmare Before Christmas reinterpreted by Metal bands and similar. I'm still trying to decide if that's awesome or just silly, though I'm leaning to awesome.

Given the nature of the movie it wouldn't be likely to be awesomely silly (as opposed to the metal Make way for Noddy cover I've once hear). Having heard a few of the songs, it's a bit hit and miss (mostly due to the bands style as opposed to failure of concept), though a few work really well (let's face it, most of people wouldn't be surprised by the Marilyn Mason cover of "This is Halloween")

Correct xander, also note that the apology says that the Enterprise D and E are Galaxy class but the Enterprise E is actually Sovereign class.
