I wonder when the last time I posted here was? It must be over half a year ago...

I've been fiddling around with this game called homeworld 2. It's an RTS which I find quite interesting. I've also become rather hooked on Zero Punctuation, so if this post comes across as pants-on-head retarded*, forgive me.

*Aha, see what I did there?**

The majority of my posts probably now consist of me coming back and marveling at how Picture Wars and Let's go RANDOM are still going.

Though the former seems to have died off this time around.

Anyway, concluding my irrelevant contribution to the discussion.

Could you explain this? Were White Wolf's creation myths like this? :)

Yeah, if you read Revelations of the Dark Mother it says that God wasn't the creator but that he was the *creator* of Eden, just not the world/universe etc.

Apparently they are right, heh.

Seems like you're stressing the wrong bit there. ;)

Anyway, since it's a Dutch professor I've been hearing bits and pieces in the news about it (which I admittedly haven't followed that well for a while now, need to change that) but generally it seems like most experts are not all that intrigued by this. Might be just the bits that I've heard though.

Shock horror, a book written in an old language that wasn't spoken for over one and a half thousand years was mistranslated.

Come on people, it's the bible. Anyone who takes it as fact is an idiot.

Are you implying that moses DIDN'T get the stupid holy rock plates on the top of a mountain, only to crush them into pieces before anyone else gets to see them? INSANITY!!

Weren't they supposedly stored in the Ark of the Covenant, or something like it? Or is that not generally accepted canon?

Not sure, but he could just as well collect a bounch of random stones and say that they were it before he smashed it.

I think they did both. He smashed them and then the pieces were placed in the Ark.

However, wikipedia says:

According to the Bible, there were two sets: the first, inscribed by God, were smashed by Moses when he was enraged by the sight of the Children of Israel worshiping the Golden Calf; and the second, later cut by Moses and rewritten by God.
