Didn't you say you weren't bothered about leaving the USA at all?

I did, quite a while back. You have a pretty good memory. :D

Well it stuck because I like visiting other countries...I'm not keen on flying but it's worth it...and definitely worth it to get to Yosemite.

On that note the place I'm in in Sweden reminds me of Silent Hill...it was quite foggy today, grey diffuse daylight for a few hours, freezing cold, damp, hardly a soul about, ominous looking forests...

Okay. Let's iron out the details. According to the CDC, 17% of adults under the age of 65 are without insurance, and 9% of children are without insurance. I would also like to find some numbers on the cost of insurance to those with private insurance (is it through work? how much do they pay in?) and the level of coverage (how much is covered? what kind of procedures?), but I don't have a lot of time right now to find those numbers. In order to feel that Obama had actually done something significant, I would want to see improvement in all categories -- more people with insurance, with better coverage, and at a price that is affordable to the poorest members of society. In terms of raw numbers, how about less than 10% of adults uninsured, and less than 5% of children uninsured?

And I will take single malt scotch. ;)

Let this post be a declaration of an agreement to the above terms and conditions of the bet. Claimant of the bet in the case of winning will be at the next Introversion Release Party after Obama has finished presidency (be it 4 or 8 years). This bet is null and void should McCain win, for I'll join you in US Civil War II.

I'd support whichever side is against Bush and their ilk.

You can have our bit to, although if you want you could give us some of your Branbant so the Dutch/Belgic(?) border is a straight line.

Thank goodness for CNN, how else could we have known that the internet contains anger?

Today, and no it's Biden, as news announced weeks ago to anyone who paid the slightest bit of attention.
