I find it interesting that with ten head-bashes to my keyboard, all I managed to come up with was "bn ".

If my food packaging has EXP200907 printed on it, does that mean it expires in
July of next year (2009 07), or August 20th from last year (20 09 07)?

I would think it's using international dating, and is thus August 20th of last year. Placing the month after the year seems quite odd, and I doubt you have 18,000 years left until it goes bad.

I really hope thinkgeek.com didn't sell me expired miracle fruit, as you suggest...

[edit] strange, the bag has the date printed as shown above, but the blister pack inside has a distinct space on it, thus written "EXP2009 07"

Part of me feels bad for these people; the other part, the part that is reflecting on the time, money, and various other sacrifices I have made to attend an actual University, is screaming "what did you expect?" at these people.

Part of me says "At least she could likely pass a course at an actual college". The rest of me wonders what entry requirements there are.

In the meantime, there's no denying it, even Apple knows it fans are elitist cunts.

Actually some idiot did, and the complained "I wasn't serious" so it was taken down. Story was on theregister.co.uk a few weeks back.

So not only are some of them elitist cunts (incorrectly), but the term "mactard" sticks more then ever.

Like I said to xyzyxx just now on IRC, this isn't odd. It's a format I see regularly, and I think I see it more often than this international date format.

Also, since when is 18000 + 2008 = 200907? You're missing a digit. :P
