Dollars? Not very British of you. Hmm... that's about £7.68. Sadly, London living wage is £8.30. :P

...Except the vast number of contributors to the bundle are Yanks. Federal minimum wage is $7.25 (~£4.70) excluding tipped employees (servers, bussers, bartenders, etc.), highest minimum wage is $9.92 (~£6.43) (where I live, SF). Living wage can vary anywhere from $6.40 (£4.15) (rural counties) to $13.50 (£8.19) (affluent suburbs), according to the most recent data available. If one were to do a national average, it'd be around, say, $10 (£6.48), I think.

Besides, regardless, this seems like part-time work.

What has that got to do with the price of rice in China? Introversion are looking for general volunteers, not targeting an American demographic who contributed to a bundle. They are British with a co.uk TLD and it makes more sense for them use their local currency (much like their store which quotes GBP before others). Using your reasoning they should actually be quoting in Yuan since China is the most populated country.

Well what does it take to apply? I've been a fan since Darwinia came out and then didn't join the forums untill late. It depends on the tech support needed.

From the news post:
Mark wrote:So we're hoping for a bit of an influx of new introversion fans over the next couple of weeks and we could do with some volunteers to help with some tech support during the period.

Emphasis mine. Where is that influx coming from? Bundle buyers. And until they say otherwise, I have reason to believe that most of them are Americans. Introversion may be reaching out to those people for additional support. So it's not far-fetched to say what I am saying.

So you think the best people to volunteer advice and support are those who are new to the games rather than the veterans and long term fans? :/

I have no idea what the spam bot is saying, but it started with Le Gnome!

So I give it two thumbs up.

As has been repeatedly requested in the past: if you see spam, do not reply to it. Send a message to bert_the_turtle or jelco (moderators) so that they can deal with it.

Let's bump up old threads!

Seriously, topics should get locked after a while :(

It was bumped by a spam post which has since been removed.
