You miss the point. If you don't have something interesting or relevant to add to an old thread, then don't post in it. The older the thread, the more interesting or relevant your post should be. For instance, there is a similar topic in the Darwinia forums about the Darwinia launch party, which took place six years ago. Are you planning on posting in that topic to expound upon your regret at not being able to make it there? This topic is half a year old. The people that made it to the party had their say, and those of us that were on the wrong side of the world commiserated about it. There is no longer any reason to bump this thread.
