Chris gives live talk at AIGameDev

Postby vic » Mon Jan 26, 2009 6:03 pm

Chris has been invited by AIGameDev.com to give a live interview about the history, development and role of AI in Introversion's games. This will be a great event, not just for those interested in the development of IV titles, but also for any aspiring game designers looking to increase their own knowledge base.

The interview will be held on Wednesday 28th January at 6PM GMT (that's UK time). The interviews on AIGameDev are usually for paying members only, but they have generously agreed to extend a free invitation to IV fans, so if you can join us please come along. We will be posting up the link you'll need to join the chat 15 minutes before it starts, so watch this space!

In the meantime if you're interested in AI in games and fancy getting your hands dirty, check out how you can get involved with our DEFCON AI project!

The Chat is over, stay posted for more info.

Hey Jelco,

I'll certainly have a chat with the editors and see if we can get a transcript of the talk for you :D

Great session indeed, it was a pity I couldn't get there earlier. :x

I'll have to listen to it later, hopefully.

I joined in a few minutes before the end, but could see the presentation was being recorded.
Is that recording available for us non-members to view?

Yes, I would very much like to see a recording if possible. Too bad I missed it...
