All this number dancing makes me wonder - will the tins be in any way numbered themselves? Not that it matters; knowing that I was the 55th person to lay down cold hard (potential) cash for a copy of Multiwinia is bizarrely satisfying.

Well, if anyone could, that would be absolutely fantastic - I'd just have to get their account no. and what else is needed to transfer monies to their account. Also, it'd preferably be a regular - so there would be some kind of trust already :D

Perhaps some kind of freebie for the person helping me out here ...

I had the option of either putting this on my christmas wish list in hopes they would order it now, or order it now and be confident in the fact that I will get Multiwinia: Awsome in the relative future.

I cannot trust my parents, therefore I chose Multiwinia: Awesome in the relative future.

Presuming of course, they have enough left :(

Are you suggesting that we can trust anyone this forum!? I think you've posted this in the wrong thread.

Yay Preordered. The $20 shipping makes me a bit sad, but eh, it's IV and they deserve some extra bucks anyway. Does buying this package automatically give you access to Darwinia's digital download? I wouldn't know since I've already bought it twice.

Edit: I'm number 122.

Yes, you'll be able to access the digital download from the boxset.

Question: order two tins to sell second on in 15 years when Introversion are mega famous rockstars?

I guess that the number on the key is cumulative between special edition and normal purchase too?

You know, Phelanpt's post reminded me of something.

Indeed, there is a service supported by most Portuguese banks designed specifically for online shopping. It creates a virtual credit card with a small expiration date and a user set limit on the maximum amount of money spent.

What I'm trying to say is that I can provide such a number to folk I think I can trust like zanzer7 or Rkiver for them to use and then they can use it to order the game for themselves and pay me back later. Since the only Personal information they would be getting would be my name (and not my full name at that) I don't see a problem with it (provided they pay me back of course).

... Thank you for your kind words!

All (or maybe just I) rise for ynbniar, though - in the end, ynbniar was the one helping me order a tin box (#224 for those that care), and I am truly greatful.

~ Thanks heaps, I now feel I can retire and enjoy Multiwinia the rest of my days!
As opposed to being forced to commit suicide, etc.

# 322. I wonder how many they made. But I'm glad I didn't wait too long. This should be a great release.

Should be easy to figure out.

Just take "several weeks" (to transport) x 3 (cartons at a time) and use the dimensions below (to be determined) to calculate how many tins per carton and you've got your number. :P I'm sure some smart forumite can put it all together, of course 500 would be a decent guess.
