Multiwinia: call for Beta Testers!
We are delighted to announce that private beta testing of Multiwinia will be starting up very soon, and we would like to ask all Introversion fans who are interested to sign up to be beta testers.
Here is the signup page: (You will need to be a registered member of our forums to sign up)

We will start the process soon with a small number (around 50) of testers running a non-playable "Hardware Test" build. This build will pit 4 AI players against each other and will report back to us with frame rates, hardware stats, problems etc. During this phase we're looking at hardware compatability problems, frame rate issues etc. After this we'll start rolling out playable versions for the testers to break, gradually adding applicants to the test group in batches of 50 or more.
We have opened a new Multiwinia forum (linked to from our main forum page) with a publicly open General channel. Beta testers will gain additional access to the locked testing/bug reporting channels, as well as a channel for discussing the game itself.

We really appreciate the help you are able to give us, and we're looking forward to playing against you soon!

Gahhh! Why do you have to announce this on the only day this week where I'm going to get home late! I suffer in the expectation of signing up, but I need to get home in order to check my hardware.
Mike, you could sign up anyway and then play according to your possibilities. In most Beta's (not necessarily IV's) there are always several folk that don't really contribute, so you probably wouldn't be the worst.
Assuming you're picked that is.

No Jelco, you shouldn't because each time you change the hardware, it overwrites the last one (Says it on the application page).

From the group of alpha testers a group was selected for the testing of the actually playable builds - the beta tests.
So my guess is you just have to sign up, and IV will remember not to select you for the beta tests at the appropriate time. Anyway, just try to do as much as possible, it's a great thing to be able to say "I was a tester for that game"!

PS: Actually, what about multiple systems? I signed up with the specs of my own PC, but there are another home PC and two other laptops here, which I might be allowed to use as well (particularly the home PC). Should I sign up again with the specs of the other PC(s)?
you could write that in the additional info box maybe?
edit:: which is why I just rewrote my application to include my laptop
edit:: Hmm, when I just edited my application again because I forgot to say my laptop was vista half of my "Extra info" was missing from last time. Character limit Chris?
GENERATION 22:The first time you see this, copy it into your sig on any forum and add 1 to the generation. Social experiment.
