PC Gamer has printed its yearly Top 100 games in the September issue, and we are delighted to say that all three of our games are featured. Here is what's written for each game:
Position 85 : Uplink (2001)
The most unnerving simple graphics could ever be, Introversion's hacking simulator nails the tension as you attempt to sidle in the back doors of big company computers before your illegal activities get rumbled.
Kieron: "When I reviewed this back in the day, I said it's minimalist graphics wouldn't age a a day and remain atmospheric forever. Yet again, I was right."
Position 51 : Defcon (2006)
Who knew the end of the world would be this pretty? Inspired by Wargames' computer controlled map, Defcon puts you in command of a global nuclear attack, ordering bomb drops, subs and defence from a protected bunker. Darkly satisfying.
Graham: "The music becomes slow and quiet. A woman coughs and cries in the distance. A low rumbling turns loud and bright as you look closer. It's a rare game that so perfectly captures a mood or feeling. That it's a feeling of emptiness makes Defcon as unsettling as it is beautiful."
Position 35 : Darwinia (2005)
Bordering on the spiritual, this celebration of all things Amiga, and indeed all things wonderful about videogames, has a timeshare condo in our hearts. Guard the little green stick-sprite-men! THEY MUST SURVIVE.
Tom: "Each part of the life-cycle of this race of evolving artificial intelligences is the focus of a level, so by the end of their moving little story you've seen the genius of it first-hand."
All three IV games in PC Gamer Top 100

Congratulations!
Well deserved. I've only been an IV fan for a few months but already have all 3 games.
Can't wait for the next release
Once again ... Well done!

Incidentally, Uplink has clawed its way up 14 places, while Darwinia has dropped back 13, since last year.
