Introversion hires 9th full-time employee

Postby vic » Wed Jul 11, 2007 4:58 pm

We're very pleased to announce the hiring of Leander Hambley who fills the post of 9th full-time member at Introversion. Leander will be working with us on a new project for an undisclosed mobile platform. Since advertising the job, we've had lots of applications, held several interviews and Leander impressed us with his enthusiasm and skills for the job. He's officially the second person to buy anything ever from the Introversion store, beta-tested all three of our games and this continues our belief in hiring extremely talented individuals direct from the Introversion community. Good to have you with us elDiablo!

Yes, congrats!! It seems the pace is picking up at IV, which can only be good news.
Good luck on this project el Diablo.

Oh and vic. Do watch out with El Diablo. He is suspected of having long ears.

Congratulations, elDiablo. Good luck with MiniCon (or should that be MobileCon?).

Lots of congratulations to elDiablo for making it through the selection process, and congratulations to IV for hiring yet someone else from the community. Judging from all the discussions I've had with him (and those I've witnessed) I have no doubt that he is a truly valuable person for your company.

And by the way, KingAl seemed to be right!

EDIT: xander, both of your proposals sound more like names for events than for a game... :P

Their not really proposals so much as attempts to coin codenames, such as UpDefWinia. MobileCon or MiniCon are both meant to convey the idea of Defcon on a mobile or mini device. ;)

Congratulations to El Diablo, maybe that explains why he's been so quiet on The Wolf Game? :P

Have to respect IV for looking to the community first when mentioning a job is available, and congrats to elDiablo for making it through.

Can't wait to see his first game.

Or, since he joined last, he is indeed the last of the last of the bedroom programmers. In short, this makes him the very last of the bedroom programmers.

Jelco

PS: Yes, I know, this is a poorly formed argument. :D
