Awesome! So if I find the same brand of CDR and write "DEFCON GOLD MASTER" on it then I can play early? Is that what you're saying? I could even burn ~60mb of crap onto it.

Sweet.

Edit: Oh, and those lucky buggers at the Post Office get to play early too...

well. when you write "defcon gold master" onto a CDR then something schrödinger-like will happen:
at every point in time before you actually insert the cd into your drive the game will and will not be on the disk at the same time.
so as long as you don't insert the cd and see whats on it you can brag that you own the game...

All I wanna say is thank you. It's been a great time testing the game, going through Alpha and Demo. I am very sorry about the fact that I have not found the time to test my Steam version (I only noticed my key by friday), but I'm sure that all the others deserve a lot of congrats for their hard work. If the forums are opened to the public, people should read Montyphy's bug lists to see what has happened all the way since April...

Cheers guys! A toast to Defcon, and <the next game>!

Frankly, I'm disappointed that a gold labelled CD wasn't used. :(

Congratulations! Cannot wait to see it!

Here's hoping for many additional innovative games from Introversion!

Ever thought about doing a 'remake' of Uplink?
