Does that "limited availability" mean that only some preorders will get a boxed edition, or that only some preorders will get the box before the launch?
I want to pre-order, but if that means there's a possibility that I won't get a box, then I'll wait.

Am I reading too much into this?

P.S. - BTW, I think the store is broken... I get a MySql error instead of the page.

Maybe "limited availability" means that they will not make infinite copies

Also, pre-ordered together with Uplink and Darwinia Poster 2

Frak. I saw the Steam banner and pre-ordered, *then* checked the IV site. I want a box... I wonder if I could buy it and give the disc to a friend in one of those naff jewel cases...

You can pre-load Defcon on Steam btw - I wonder how close to the end of that beta they are! It's about 30meg for the bandwidth-conscious among us.

Well, sure, but it hardly shows the exact number of orders. :-)

According to that we are around 700-800 right now but that might include Uplink/Darwinia/posters/etc orders too that were made ever since preorders became available.
