Nearly. If the url is http://forums.introversion.co.uk/introversion, your postcount is the sum of your Uplink, Darwinia and Defcon posts. Else its the postcount of the URL you're on (be it /uplink or /darwinia or /defcon)

It does seem to me to be a very weird system. For example, http://forums.introversion.co.uk/uplink/defcon and http://forums.introversion.co.uk/darwinia/defcon lead to the same forum, as does http://forums.introversion.co.uk/introversion/defcon. Weird.

Weird is such a weird word. Just look at it.

"I" before "E," except after "C;" and when sounded as "A" as in "neighbor" and "weigh;" and "neither weird foreigner seizes leisures at their height."

Weird looks right to me. Wierd just looks...odd. (HA! I didn't say weird!)

I think I'll stick with wyrd. That has quite a satisfying quality to it.

This just worries me: http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/dree_one’s_weird

Maybe it looks like this, but believe me, it's not the case...I'm sorry it sounded like I was trying to do such a thing.Maybe I shouldn't post it here, in this topic.I just...need to share such common thoughts with somebody that likes Darwinia, because here, in my country, almost no one can understand it...Sorry again.

I think bungree was just joking. It does sound a bit like it, but there's nothing wrong with that ;)

OMG NOOOO!!!! I beta tested darwinia some years ago and I thought let's check up on their new game, cos I knew they got to be working on something new, guess I'm a bit to late to enter beta testing :( , love doing that. Still got that swimming officer bug in my head for darwinia :D

Well do a good job beta testers

Correct, hence the smiley face at the end of my post. Don't worry about it anyway. Hell, I'd suckup myself if I thought it had any chance of increasing my chances. :)

I'm probably a bad fanboy anyway, as I never played Darwinia, aside from the demo. I think I'm one of those people you mentioned that didn't "get it". It was a cool concept and everything, I just don't think the game was for me... I tend to get tired of games quickly when there's not a ton of new things to do all the time, and especially if there is no multiplayer.

Now, DEFCON, on the other hand... I think I could really sink my teeth into it, as it has multiplayer and looks like it has semi-infinate replayability. Time will tell, I suppose.

Is it normal that I get a "you are in the alpha test" email which mentions it's only win32 while I'm on a Mac.... (not Intel Mac)

There are a couple of us that are in similar situations (at least five people now). Either someone at IV screwed up, or the Mac and Linux tests are about to begin, or Chris is just taunting us. I suspect a conspiracy.
