Indeed, congratulations for everyone who made the test group. Hopefully the sight of MAD as you set-up and configure matches is wondrous indeed. Essentially this is a screen saver in a way. I wonder how input would work with my tablet. Ah well, progress is good.

I'm confused, is this the beta or the alpha test cos I've seen it referred to as both. Also will there be a gamma test/ second stage beta test?
^^Another amazing comment/statement/question/answer/joke/insult/compliment^^

I believe that this is, officially, an alpha test -- at least for the time being. If Defcon is tested in the same way that Darwinia was, more people will be added to the test as time passes, likely in groups of 100. Also, I think that we can expect Mac and Linux tests to begin at some point, possibly after this current round of network hacking is complete.

Congratulations to the ones selected. Since this stage is conserning network and that is my area of interest, if I find the games network flawed in any way I now know who to hunt down and blame. ;)

Hey, I've actually got both a Windows and a Mac computer in this house, and could probably set them up for a LAN. I demand Mac testing priority. :P
You just wasted 3 seconds of your life you'll never get back, by reading this. Sucks, don't it?
