Oh well, time to wait until <the fourth game>.

Curse me for being away when testing was first annouced and having boring hardware (and for typing something too long in the "Description" box.

Anyway congratulations to everyone who got in, enjoy the beta, and help make defcon better than any other game ever released.

Maybe next time for me.

*goes off to cry quietly to himself*

EDIT: What's with http://metaserver.introversion.co.uk/?

Being unexperianced on such matters I have some questions to ask

1. How long does Beta testing useually last (that question itself may be evidence of my inexperiance, but if your unwilling to look stupid you'll never learn anything)

2. How soon after the testing is complete can we expect the game on the shelves

And an unrelated question

3. Are there any prototype game covers for us to see?

Depends on the company. If you are Google for example nothing ever leaves beta. Generally for games it is a few months.

That depends on how they release Defcon. It may never hit shelves (as it is hard for indie games to get shelve space). Since it will (I assume) be offered as digitial download it can be available immediately after the beta is done.

Thing is, if you look at the user group for the ALPHA testers you'll see that a huge amount of them haven't ever made a post!?

I was also wondering about that (...trying desperately to find my name on the list when I didn't receive an e-mail...)
I guess it's just about the hardware you have. (I understand that my comp. was too good for them. erhhm  )
Im envious... a lot that is...
