For the first time in his life, xander wishes he had a Windows box, so that he could play with the new features. :( It is not fair letting me read the beta discussion section, but not letting me post or play. :)

Oh, well. Congratulations to all that were selected for the Windows beta. Maybe by the time the Mac 1.3 beta comes out, most of the bugs will be ironed out. :P

... then there will be no bugs and you are never needed for a beta test. :p

Hence the use of the word "most" with reference to the number of bugs that will be ironed out, e.g. most of the bugs will have been ironed out. :P

Aw... I wasn't put in. Oh well. Does this group include testers of both the Windows and Mac version, or just the Windows version?

At the moment, only the Windows patch is being tested.

Ah. But the question was: does the USERGROUP include Mac testers? I couldn't seem to find your name in there.

EDIT:

Thanks Dr4gon. Which means I might still have a chance. Whoopee! :D

No, the usergroup only contains Windows patch 1.3 testers. If you look just below my nick, you will see MacOSX phase 1 tester. I am a member of that group. I did not beta test the full game, and did not test the Windows or Linux versions of the game. Below 100 lucky people's nicks, you will see the phrase Win32 patch 1.3 tester (or something like that). Those folk are currently working with the Windows version of the patch. When the Mac patch is put out for testing, you will likely see something like MacOSX 1.3 patch tester below other people's names. Until then, we must wait with baited breath.

Um... I joined almost two months before you, and I like to spam. You see, the time between 22 October 2005 and 13 December 2005 is only 10 days short of two months. There are the remaining 9 days of October, plus 30 days of November, and 13 days of December, for a total of 52 days, or 7 weeks.
