Welcome to the new Darwinia website

It's been a while in development, but the new site has finally been launched according to plan. We have a great deal of content coming soon to the site, so check back often, but for now we will be running the Beta phase of the Darwinia project from this very site. New sections of the website will appear from now until game release, and beyond. If you are interested you can sign up to become a beta tester and see the game months before it reaches the shops.

We've got some new content as well...we've added 3 new screenshots of the game. And i've also posted the full text of the interview I did with PC Gamer, which was eventually edited into their 2 page scoop in the June edition. You can find that interview text in the Exposure section of the website. More stuff will be coming soon.

We've taken the step of disabling signatures on these forums, to prevent the problem that occurs on the Uplink forums - very untidy threads that are very difficult to read. We have enabled Avatars instead, which are much more organised. You can set up your avatar from your signature.

That's all for now. Phase 1 of the beta test will be starting up in around 3 weeks, so we're going to be very busy. Let us know of any problems you find with the new site.

I reallyreallyreally want to be a beta tester, but I am gonna have next-to-no time to do it this summer - am I unlucky or what?
However, if I was a beta tester, I would probably be pretty sick of the game by the time it hit the shops - playing one level over and over and over is a real killjoy.

And smeggy, what are you cooking up? When you say you have an idea, that's bad enough; when you say so in Shakespearean English, we should all be running for cover . The sig was good, but let it go. Be inventive, see what other ways you can exploit the avatar system...
