Being overly pedantic as you are, he could have just a video card, not a graphics card. There used to be a diffrenece, but since everyone blended the terms, there's none anymore. However, a video card had no 3D capabilities, and could only display 2D objects. My old laptop had a video card rather than a graphics card.

Just what I was about to say. And, yes, you can play Netack using printer outputs. Just slowly. :)

Works fine for me.

If I wasn't busy drooling at Defcon (damn, where can I get that music?!) and busy playing SE4 turns, I'd sign up for some Uplink bugstomping. ;)

Hmm, I get a 404 when I try to get to the beta testing page. Damn, I would love to beta test Uplink.

http://forums.introversion.co.uk/uplink ... tatest.php

Thats gives the 404. Even adding the php extension takes you to the uplink index instead of the betatest subscription.

The correct URL is http://forums.introversion.co.uk/uplink/betatest.php

Thanks, there was a problem where the URL didn't work if you weren't logged in already. Thanks to James' fixes, it should now be working.

If we don't see much of you then... it's unlikely you'll be able to stay on the beta, if you get picked.

If you would be interested in helping to test Uplink, especially if you have not played it before, please sign up here.

Your help is, as always, much appreciated.

Edit: Windows users only for now.

I did sign up, but the signup page only allows me to enter one computer. I use my two Macs primarily, but I also have a Dell Dimension 4550 here at home that I work with. Plus, I've never played Uplink, being a recent Darwinia addic.. I mean, uh, fan. :D
