Introversion at the IGF
The Independent Games Festival is taking place in San Jose next week as part of the Game Developers Conference, and we will be in attendance. Myself, Mark, Tom and Johnny are making the journey and we'll be over there for 10 days. We're actually flying out to Seattle first, in order to visit the Valve guys - should be great to finally meet the guys behind the Steam relaunch of Darwinia in person. After a couple of days there we will fly to San Francisco for the GDC. The awards ceremony for the IGF is on Wednesday 22nd.
Darwinia is nominated for four of the IGF awards including the big one, so we've got our fingers crossed. Darwinia is also nominated for the Audience Award and we'd like to ask once again for your votes - anything we can do to raise our profile is a bonus for us. Please visit this page and cast your votes for us.
Once we get back from America our focus will be the Defcon beta and launch - we're hoping to start the Beta process at the beginning of April. We're slightly behind schedule with Defcon at the moment - an April release is now unlikely.

Well best of luck guys, I know I voted, and I hope the rest of the community did. Safe flight, have fun, say hello to Valve (bug them about HL2:Aftermath), party like crazy, then come back and continue with Defcon.

We didn't take money from publishers because we didn't want publishers to fuck with our game.

See that twit Majoon's comments? Someone is either a sore loser, or some programmer that failed miserably, either way screw him.
Go IV and nice comments Chris.
