AI API commandline problem

Hi
I can't seem to get hosting a game from the commandline using a specific bot to work. I have searched to forum but I have not found a solution.
In cmd I enter "defcon host ai=\AI\javabot\javabot.dll " but when it starts the game the bot is not selected in the external bot drop down list.
Any suggestions?
