no anti-aliasing in defcon 1.6 under linux ubuntu 11.10

Hi,
I've no anti-alising in my game since i went to 1.6 version.
I tried everything with configuration .. the only thnigs that works is holding the key 'j' all the time to see smooth lines ...
Obivously I won't hold that key for hours of playing so ... I'll go back to older version but if someone have an interesting solution to provide I will be happy to try it.
