upgrading defcon in Ubuntu 10.04

Postby ubudog » Fri Sep 10, 2010 7:29 pm

Hi! I accidentally bought the Windows version of Defcon, so I got the windows key, but I am using Ubuntu 10.04. I tried entering the key into the Linux version of Defcon, but apparently it is not long enough. Do I have to repurchase the Linux version so I can get a linux key?

The Windows key should work with the Linux version. Are you sure that you are typing it in correctly? With any punctuation that should fit? Also, where did you buy the key? From IV directly? via Steam? from Ambrosia?

I bought it directly from the IV website. There are like 3 extra characters needed. I got the key via email, and they showed it to me on the website.
