Yep, Alec's basically said as much. Somewhere. Honest.

Not entirely sure what this has to do with Defcon on the Eee PC, though :P Suffice to say, Defcon will - should - be perfectly happy at 800*480, as long as the hardware can handle it.

6 player AI battle fully zoomed out plays at about 19fps with minimum settings at 800x480.

Highly playable.
