Hmm, that deb changes the file structure. Damn Ubuntu's penchant for fiddling with files
Well, in that case, try /usr/share/games/defcon/mods and it should work - if that fails to work, try /usr/share/games/defcon/lib/mods
Remember to get the structure of the mods right; a lot of people extract the mod on directory too 'deep'; you should have:
/usr/share/games/defcon/mods/<modname>/data/
/usr/share/games/defcon/mods/<modname>/data/earth
/usr/share/games/defcon/mods/<modname>/data/graphics
/usr/share/games/defcon/mods/<modname>/data/gui
and so on. Not all of those folders may be present, but that's dependant on the mod.
