If I cheated, I didn't mean to....

Hi all,
Just played a quick 1v1 against King Kong, and now I'm kinda unsure of myself. Is using default score mode (2pts for kill, -1 for Death, -2 for collateral, 0 for survivors) considered cheating?
If so, I apologise un-reservedly to King Kong. I didn't intend to dupe anybody. Sorry dude.
If it wasn't cheating - my second game ever (first 1v1) online, and I scored 149 to 53. You could have thrashed me, Kong. Especially after you killed half my navy and 3 quarters of my subs in the North Atlantic before they'd fired a shot - you had a clear advantage in numbers. Hitting my silos and airbases so hard might have been a good move if they hadn't already emptied their load across your population. If you'd fired on my cities instead you'd have hammered me.
And unfortunately, I entirely failed to make a recording.
I don't expect to win often (if indeed, I won this time, rather than cheated, however accidentally). Perhaps when I learn to fight the naval battles better I'll have a better chance of winning. As it was, Kong went through my navy like yoghurt through a dog, and I really thought I was up shit creek.
