a tough 1vs1 battle

Postby toiminto » Thu Jan 27, 2011 8:48 am

Last night I played a 1vs1 and man it was a tough battle! I was NA and was playing against Africa, placed almost all in atlantic. He then tried to double approach from north and south, wasting most of my bb:s and some carriers but i managed to nuke his fleet pretty good :D actually didn't know I hit so hard so the rest of the game I was expecting him to run me over on pacific but I destroyed a big portion of his fleet with a few naval nukes

The real turning point of the game was when i spotted all of his 12 subs under Iceland and bombed them with two carriers :D Rest of the game was hide and seek, tried to scout his silos but didn't bring the pacific ships (2 carriers and a battleship) to help until very late in the game when I was sure he wasn't coming there. Rest was just bombing coastal cities with subs and a few bombers. He then launched silos but not many made it thru. In the end i won 126-1, this all because of the fleet nuking and sub destruction

Game was very long, longest one (at least in game time) I've played, game clock going 13+hours :D One of the best games I've played. I'm stoked 8)
