Debrief - Why do I get kicked first on Diplo?

Postby Armchair Ace » Tue Nov 16, 2010 11:49 pm

Although I've never been so unfortunate as to be kicked from the green team on a Diplo server, I thought I would make a list of reasons for those who are kicked, and who can't work out why.

HUMAN SHIELD - It is quite likely, depending on your location, that you have been used a s a human shield, and that once you have served your purpose, you are kicked. An example of this is Africa and the U.S. kicking Europe when they are fighting Russia.

DIALOGUE - Have you been keeping up with conversations? Are you an active member of the alliance, or just sitting there, listening to the others babbling?

MANNERS - As a general rule, being an arrogant knob doesn't help. Never try to order your allies around - and always say please. That's kept me alive for several matches now.

SPELLING & GRAMMAR - As ridiculous as this reason may seem, I have found that the person who uses text language the most in one alliance was kicked. Well, this only happens when you're stuck with Grammar Nazis.

SILO PLACEMENT - If you do just as the tutorial tells you, and put silos all over the place, this will be seen as a sign of 'Noobiness' and you increase your odds of being kicked from your team.

I hope these tips are fairly helpful!
