Diplomacy at its best

Had an excellant diplo game on wednesday the 25th..... A six player game involving myslef (Russia), Toast(Asia), Arsenal Gear (Europe), HAL (South America) , Paranoid ICBM (Nth America) and C.T.O <prez> (Africa). Everyone sat quietly scheming untill Defcon 1. I allied with Europe before Defcon 3 and rather than fighting Asia, (Toast) whose entire fleet bar a few ships was in the pacific we allied with him as well. Nth and Sth America allied and Africa chose to go it alone. with the bombs flying, mainly between the red alliance (ours) and Africa the civilians started to vanish quickly!

Overall the game ended with myself and Toast drawn at 79, (me on top becuase of alphabetical reasons)

The scores were: Arc Light 79
Toast 79
HAL 47
Arsenal Gear 40
C.T.O <prez> 28 (dropped before end of game)
Paranoid ICBM (dropped before end of game)

In my defense, I did get the most kills and there is only 5 points separating 1st from 6th. Plus, I don't play diplomacy to win, I play for the fun of it.
