KOTH (coup) Domino v World Idiot

Postby ynbniar » Mon Jun 18, 2007 9:08 pm

It certainly won't last for long but I have somehow managed to wangle my way to King of The Hill.

Played world idiot who didn't seem too confident from the start...if only he knew how rubbish I am. Once again my bomber swarms were as tightly packed as a really loose thing, but my timing was OK and I managed to win the naval battle fairly early on.

I also got most of world's subs early apparently...by the way do not ask why I bothered sending subs through the Beiring in a 30min game...it's habit...a bad habit :?

Thanks to world's silos placement I got a lot of early points from by bombers, and with a fairly tight defensive posture i.e lots of bombers on coast patrol I launched my silos at the rest of his cities, along with a couple of subs off Portugal, and a few more strung out bombers.

World countered with a silo launch of his own, so I switched back to AA after about half my birds were in the air. I also positioned 4 subs in the Indian in case they were needed for a few late points.

Sure enough I needed them...world's silo launch rained down, and he got a few bombers through as well, so it got close until I launched from the Indian and stretched away a bit.

Good game world.

I don't expect I'll be king for long...anyone wants to Challenge I'll be back on at about 11pm BST...must go eat.
