Joshua's Dead Subs

Postby ynbniar » Sat Jun 16, 2007 10:52 pm

Just finished a 1v1 with a player named Joshua.

I'm not a big 1v1 but since it seems to be the "in" mode at the moment thought I better get some practice in.

Anyway I was Asia, Joshua was USSR and a funny thing happened.

Some of his subs, off the coast of Japan, I am sure were destroyed by my battleships while submerged...the graphic was a submerged sub, but it was not ghosted, it was blue...he got upset (understandably) and suggested I might be cheating...sorry Joshua I wasn't...

I wonder if he had surfaced those subs near my battleships, then moved them??? But would they not have gone ghosted???

I had some pinging subs in the area but well out of range...none of my carriers were anywhere near this incident...

I've had the same thing happen a couple of times... I'll be interrested to hear if there's a logical explaination for it.

Yeah happens quite often when a battleship is destroyed directly above subs sometimes it sinks a sub. Surely it's just the wreckage of the battleship colliding with the sub and destroying it?

Oops..I meant the subs were shot at by my battleships...there was clear blue water between us...
