This is the story of betrayal. Enjoy!
The six player game broke down as follows:
Red team= Europe- Bomber, Russia- KrazyCarly
Blue Team= NA- Mike, SA- GREENPEACE
Yellow Team= Africa- gfactor, Asia- Feud
After crushing Russia's pacific fleet (and I do mean crushing), I received a PM from Bomber urging me to joint he red team. I asked him why I should, and he replied "why not?" I joined team red just as we hit DEFCON 2, and PM'd Africa that I would be be back after I opened up Russia, and that he should not engage me. He trusted me, and did well for it.
Right at DEFCON 1 I launched all my silos. Europe's silos were all in or west of Germany, so I targeted Russia's silos with three missiles each, his airfields with t two misses each and his radars with 1 each. When he saw the missiles going up he inquired of their destination, and I replied NA. He seemed to accept this.
The missiles began to land, and I awaited to either be kicked, or for Russia to start screaming. Nothing happened.
All of Russia's silos were wiped out. Nothing happened.
All of Russia's airfields were wiped out. Nothing happened.
As I finished mopping up his radar I rejoined Africa, and launched 32 bombers to hit cities, as well as the rest of my silo nukes. Russia was quickly gutted.
His counter attack, though noble in spirit, failed (I had bombers over his sub location by pure coincidence). Europe also tried to strike, but met with almost no success.
The best part about it? Every single nuke I fired at Russia hit it's target. Ever military target received only the amount needed to destroy it, the rest of all my silos and carrier nukes found a civilian target. Counting the shot fired at NA, SA, and Europe, I would say I had a 95-98% hit ratio for my missiles. Europe cursed, Russia took it like an adult (and has my respect for it), and I pulled off a perfect backstab. I was literally shocked that it worked as well as it did.
I won, gfactor took second, and the rest scrambled to have a positive score.
