on the screenies you will notice painted s a and perhaps r, this stands for rc's silos, airport and radar positions
game 1:
in the first game i got eu rc got russia. i decided to put all fleet at eu for a direct confrontation sending nothing to the gulf. since i was expecting heavy fleet nuking, i put everything in as small groups as i could handle. at def 4 i already saw a bunch of bs just in my radar range. at def 3i put all my subs on active, launched all bombers and wanted to go to the north map border to avoid rcs radar cover, pushing forward aggressively, however this all took too much time. when i was more or less in position it was already def 1. i put my stuff into a loose formation and set bombers at srmb launch to counter ship attacks. then we started exhcanging nuke on each others fleet and i cant tell how much i killed, but i think i shot down plenty of his bombers. my losses werent as bad as expected. at one point in the meantime rc managed to scout most of my silos, and finally was able to kill ?3? of them. unfortunatly he could do so using his subs since my fleet was all the time moving forward and retreating again to avoid rcs constant nuke rain on my ships, thats why i couldnt manage to kill his subs in time. it felt like it took ages to fight him back, and after endless skirmishes i got to his coast. the rest was mirco managing my bombers to rearm at the airports, refilling fighters, scouting his silos, and blowing them up with my subs. all the time he even shot silo nukes at my ships, giving me not even a single calm minute. i think the key point was that i could kill his bombers more or less easily.
game 2:
i got sa rc got na. i put 2 or 3 bs + 2 carriers in the pacific, the rest to the atlantic. at def 4 to my suprise had to notice that rc put all his stuff in the direct vicinity of my ships. at def 3 i put my subs on active launched some fighters and massive bombers, i lost like 2 carriers and most of my bs but i think i still
managed to kill most of his stuff. at this point i thought all of his ships would be in the atlantic. during the fight i killed some of his subs which were active as well. i think again i killed too many of his bombers. i started to scout him, while again constantly bombers where incoming nuking to nuke my atlantic fleet.
i could uncover 1 or 2 silos north of ny and send a first wave of bombers, i would estimate this were like 9 nukes each silo. however i didnt kill them! meanwhile rc started a suprise attack from the pac with at least for 4 bs and 3 or 4 carriers + subs. fortunately he didnt scout in advance so his attack was pretty uneffective. he could kill some cities and scout everything but didnt manage to kill any installation, but again i could intercept some bombers coming towards rio. after that i send like 2 or 3 full bomber waves at rcs silos, and finally spending almost all my bombers and sub nukes was able to kill them. the rest was just slaughtering his defenceless pop
if you play against rc, you never know where his fleet is, how much is left, he is very flexible and retreating and pushing forward all the time, its fun playing against him, thank you for the nice games
@carantihr:
rcs na silos placement proved to be VERY good, despite what you said, with a stronger fleet in atlantic it had been almost impossible to hit them
