(MOR)

Postby Nova Cygni » Wed May 23, 2007 12:32 am

Can I bring it to people's attention that the player (MOR) takes advantage of the fleet-through-land bug in version 1.42.

The prick ruined a game just then - I recommend you insult him and his mother harshly if you see him around.

The bug isnt always helpful and you should simply use it as an advantage to overpower his territorial waters.

Plus this is fixed in the latest beta patch.

Though I scolded the host for not being up to date, he was on steam so couldn't have had 1.43b.

Granted you'll feel bitter for a number of reasons if someone uses this bug in game but really you should just take from it, like any negative experience in life. Turn it to your strength i.e. don't play with steam servers if you're too worried of having a game ruined or look for 1.43 hosts.

We'll it was early in the game (which was boycotted thereon), he was my ally and I'd hardly describe myself as bitter, especially as I was one to publicise the fault with 1.42. But I have played with (MOR) before and thought him a good player who would hardly need to resort to devious means, so I'm just naming and shaming. Thing is most players don't read the forums. And a good thing too - playing the game then reading about it is an obsession too far I say! yar.
