skynet vs hyperion

Postby skynet77812 » Thu May 17, 2007 4:22 pm

After learning some new tactics from countersmurf I finally met up with hyperion. We played best two out of three.
In the first game i was able to sneak my subs past him through Alaska. A trick countersmurf seems to be very adept at.

In the second game hyperion took off the gloves and gave more of a fight killing half my sub fleet in the in the first few minutes of the game. After about 8 hours in defcon time i was able to pick off his silos after that he was doomed. Very good game hyperion....see you on the battle field!

Good games indeed. First game the son of a bitch got through alaska and hit me from the back (i should have defended the back, at least with radars and make sure i actually place everything first, forgot 2 airfields, lol, next time), by the time my fleet got there from beneath ireland it was too late and my silos were gone  im more an offensive player than a defensive player, not into the whole patience thing, lol but im learning new ways to deal with defensive players each day

Second game i decided to play better seeing as how my weakness in 1v1 is navy and Skynet and Radiant seem to excel with theirs. Learned from my last game and he learnt from his beatings from Countersmurf...went straight to guard alaska, took half his subs, fortunatly Skynet didn't think i'd learn that fast, lol...which is an insult to one of us  although im not sure who.

Was a close game down until the last victory timer minute...thought i had him beat. Well played sir. Had fun. Always enjoy playing you.

You won't win next time.

:)

I was looking everywhere for those subs, thought the atlantic was safe, kept them well hidden indeed. i had a mixed fleet heading for alaska from defcon 5 to beat him to it. then got them back in the atlantic after bombing mexico.
