Survivor comeback!

Postby creator » Wed May 09, 2007 7:55 pm

Just had a surprisingly good game.

I was russia and after rejecting an offer of an allience from asia accepted one from asia. The Americas allied as did europe and africa. Placed my entire fleet bar 3 subs in the north sea. defcon 4 comes along and i can see only two of europe's Silos...sigh. Sent my fleet clumsily west looking for europe's navy onyl to find it set up perfectly waiting for me, eventually lost my entire fleet for only about half of europe's battleships but much to my relief he didnt move his fleet over my 9 subs. Defcon 1 came along, Bombers flew from both sides destrroyign forward radars...It was now that i realised we were playing survior...really should check out what game im playing before i decide on a strategy. Europe launched from his subs and I followed suit but his fleet was nearby adn i didnt do as much damage as i would have liked, i destroyed the two silos I could see where as he only got a radar ...and over half my population.

Meanwhile...Asia and africa had been battling it out, Asia had defintly done better, he had lost his fleet but destroyed several of africa's silos. At this stage the main four continents are looking in a sorry state where as the america havent even sufferred a single casulty. At this point Africa starts to complain claiming that it was all over and the americas had blatently won, we tried to convince him otherwise but he was having none of it and promptly joins the american allience...Europe joined ours.

So ti was yellow verusus red with scores like so

1st and 2nd place - 200 each The americas (red allience)
3rd - Europe with around 140 (yellow allience)
4th -Africa on around 120 (red allience)
5th - Asia on around 120 as well (yellow)
6th - Russia on around 90 (yellow)

So it was looking bleak, me and Asia launched from our silos (africa counterred against asia but for some reason went for populaiton despite having a perfect opportunity to wope out all of asia's silos). Now one by one the other countries launched back, For some unkown reason at a point when south America was a long way ahead (had a score of about 180 where as everyone else was close to 100) he left the red allience...I still don;t underrstand this move as his biggest rivals in score were yellow continents.

It finsihed like so:

What a comeback for the yellow allience!
