Great game of Suvivor

Great game, Great game

Started as a normal Survivor game – 50 Cities/Totally Random/200 pop, 5 Players…

Immediately I started with the usual statements, I would only attack those who attack me, which seemed to work quite well…As North America, I allied with South America (and Alliance which was to last the game J) and then started to deploy as usual

The other three players then all grouped together, forming the Yellow Alliance of EU/Africa/Asia…. this did not bode well…

My ally and I at this point still preached the no-war messages, minding our own and holding our defence lines, we were hoping that our promise of attacking only when attacked would hold back the main attack, at least while we manovered our fleets and subs into ideal strike positions.

A small scouting incident (in which my single carrier neared Iceland to check for radar) sparked an all out naval attack from the EU against my line… this Attack resulted in a single loss of a Battleship on my side, while the EU fared much worse, having lost the bulk of his fleet, (about 9 Battleships and 6 Carrier’s) and also revealing a single silo in Spain

This naval victory, basically secured the Atlantic for our combined fleets, and future strikes against the EU (in fact I pressed the attack and took out a forward radar and the single silo in Spain before asking for a cease in the hostilities)

Just after this, Africa began to press my ally in the south Atlantic, I sent help but South America’s (Player won) fleet held their own and ultimately beat back the African fleets with minor losses.

My west coast was hit by a couple of sub launched ICBMs from the Asian navy, they were dealt with quickly, as I had bombers in the air patrolling, but they hit a couple of cities, I took the fleet I had in the pacific (3 Battleships and 5 Carrier’s) towards Japan/Korea in the hope of retaliatory strikes (resulting in a equal number of civilians killed and a forward radar/Airbase) I angered the Asian Commander and he unleashed his fleet against mine, I had the whole of the pacific to manover in however, and used the space to my advantage, the pacific was cleared in the end, with the loss of three battleships and three Carrier’s to me.

Africa dropped, causing the AI to charge its remaining fleet (a group of 6 carrier’s and a few battleships) into the Defence lines, as this was happening, I called for world peace, and the dis-armament of the AI in control of Africa, who at this point was still allied with Asia and the EU. To my surprise the EU then opened their silos and hit one of the African silos. I think he must have stopped when his ally advised him against it (my guess anyway)…Still revealed all the remaining silos…

Once my ally and I had survived the silo’s of the Yellow alliance, and they ran out of ICBMs, we picked our targets and launched 2 ICBMs per Silo to four targets at a time, and timed our launches to impact together…. this strategies work 100% and resulted in the world being completely dis-armed, while we could take our pick of any city anywhere.

We sat back, let our Birds fly and enjoyed a allied win, well worth the fight.
