Orgazmo Mode, What Has Radiant Started?

Well, tons of fun I think. Although Suicide mode is the best I think, I stepped in to play Orgazmo while I was trying to work on the tutorial.

Played two games, first one crashed on me (think it was due to rapiduploader for rapidshare running/stopping mid game, along with Fraps)

Second one went off without hitch, I even recorded the whole thing. I managed to play the entire game zoomed completely out (for recording purposes) at 1024x768 on a 1280x1024 monitor in windowed mode, that in and of itself was a challenge, add to that the reduced frame rate (ala Fraps) and I surprised myself!

Here are the Fraps Videos if you want to see them:First half 52mb and Second Half 42mb, Codec = Xvid 1.1.0 1024x768 Resolution.

he he, thx. I find Orgazmo mode to be all fun. Suicide too, I enjoy that almost more than any mode. (I still wonder if I like to play that with players not familiar with Suicide or "pros". People leaving because "this is the gayest game ever" isn't very exciting, but still - having quadrouple digits is very rewarding)

An idea: Orgazmo is a good excercise to perfect one's micro, how about making this a leg in the Defcon school?

wow whoever got second must be really really good jk was a fun game i got pics from all my orgazmo sessions over the last few days coming tonight

Aren't you a teacher? ...in other words... you're the Orgazmo "expert" :wink:, you are most qualified to set up lessons.

Also, if there ever was a game change I think would benifit Defcon (other than a server list area Chat), it'd have to be making Orgazmo (suicide) a new game mode.

Indeed. I think people should be able to distribute game modes much the same way as styles - via text documents containing the settings which can be 'loaded' by the host.

I hereby announce my retirement from Orgazmo Defcon. I wish for my 100% win record to go down in the annals of Defcon Lore. Only playing one game (as Asia) has nothing to do with it. :lol:

Of course, I could always be tempted back, Rocky style, by a particularly juicy or fun game happening.

And seeing how no-one has linked to any Think Tank threads on the subject, here's seconding the suggestion that we can have game setups like styles, so we don't have to try to remember all the settings every time, and also to give new players the opportunity to experience the great feeling of 'playable speed defcon'.
