Double Header

[Ace Rimmer]

Played two 1 vs 1 vs 1 games in a row. The first was against a couple of unknown (to me) players. It was Russia (me), Europe, and Africa. (random, 10 Cities, 200 pop). I briefly allied with Europe, sent a mass wave of bombers over Europe towards Africa and when they were already over his land, nuked my ally into the stone age, followed up by sub launch for the cities.

Jesus witnessed this. I didn't get a screen shot.

I set up another server and 1 vs 1 vs 1 ensued, or so I thought. Eerily similar setup but at Defcon 5 or 4 the other two ally and didn't break their alliance the whole game. I really thought I was done for. What saved me is that Jesus put two of his silos just close enough (by mistake) for my radar to see them. When they went to launch mode, I was ready.

yes i did witness the horrific backstab by mr rimmer in the first match. poor guy didn't know what was hitting him until 4 or 5 of his silo had dissapeared !! by the time he had worked out how to leave the alliance, all he had left was an englishman with an ummbrella and a bicicle. . . . but he did stay til the end , which shows real character. . . . . cant remember the name though.

as for the second match which i was party to. i allied with church . i knew he was a noob by his placement. it was close between me and rimmer,all out from the start. but then he still had aisa to pound (who had been inafectual up til this point) and being true to my alliance sat there and watch him raise the church to ground.good fun though.
