I told Russia (I was Asia) that I was going to launch at the USA and take out his silo shield. This would enable other players to then have better access to S. America, help keep Europe's silo placement intact (to help eat nukes from the Americas and Africa) and keep the focus off of me a while. Had I thought about it more, I would have put my silos closer to my east coast. I forgot to take into account the trajectories and realized I could only sync my silos at the west coast USA. Oh well. Defcon 1 and I launched all six.
They were about midway over the pacific when USA finally defected. Heh. I sent my pacific fleet southeast and Russia sent his pacific fleet (large) due east. Once that was over, the USA took a pretty hard beating. Africa dropped during this so I took the opportunity to take out it's navy in the Indian and silos/bases/radar. When Russia committed it's silos, I opened up 12 subs (6 groups of 2) and directed 60 nukes at him.
By this time my carriers were off of S. Americas coast and trying to (finally did) hit Sao Paulo. The last real threat (to my surprise) of keeping me out of the top of the list was Europe. Thankfully he struck S. America (I think).
